@Oaktree I don't mind keeping busy helping my mum. She lost her husband (my step dad) on Christmas day 2023. They were married for 46 years and she really missed him. So by helping her out, I can keep an eye on her and her health. She is 85 next month.

And since I lost my partner 22 years ago, I know how she feels through her stages of grief and I make myself available if she ever wants to talk. I think that my sisters don't want to bring up my dad around mum, but I know it is OK to do so, and to relive good memories.
