Okonomiyaki are cooking up nicely, but our smoke alarm is not fond of fried food, so it keeps shouting at me! Ooooh I'm thankful for the 10 minute override switch.
Once they're made, I've mixed mayo with French Dressing to give it a little more flavour, and made up a slighty spicy tomatoey sweetish soyish sauce as well. The Japanese have a specific sauce that they serve with okonomiyaki, but can't buy that locally, so my mixture is a reasonable approximation made from what's at hand. 🙂
