Re: Good Morning!

Yeah - that’s understandable @TAB .. they usually have to write reports and send them back to the specialist with the observable and reported barriers to the prescribed therapy.. if I was ever covering that job I would also include discussed alternatives so the specialist could see there may be more acceptable and accessible alternatives (making it easier for patients to talk about other methods of treatment when they follow up with specialists). That’s why many staff are a little miffed when faced with low compliance 🙂

I hope they helped you with learning lots more about what else is out there if you were interested 🙂

Re: Good Morning!

.. I doubt there is a 'specialist' @Former-Member  else they would have mentioned them.

They lost a sale, that's all.

Re: Good Morning!

Hello folks, just a reminder.  Its been a really stressful and difficult time for lots of people on here.

Wanted to say Jupiter will conjunct Uranus in the sky next week. It will offer sudden relief and release from burdening or difficult toxic situations that you have been facing for a long time.

Astrologers call it the "Thank the Lord" placement as people utter this when this transit comes around - you can get a sigh of relief getting luck and dramatic turnarounds involving people, situations, places or things. It predominently affects people with specific birthdays but applies in a weaker sense to all people generally.

According to an astrologer I follow its good for taking out a lotto ticket.

The influence starts flowing in from the Monday next week, you will feel the influence and will peak at 12:27pm Sun AEST then the influence will slowly start to taper off until the Saturday 27th. The best day for a lotto ticket would be Saturday 20th.

Re: Good Morning!

Ah - no worries @TAB 🙂🌺

sorry, I was writing under the assumption you had a sleep specialist. My apologies - I should have asked first! That’ll teach me to type when I haven’t had breakfast!! 🤭🙌🏻

Re: Good Morning!

yeah , there may be some one in the organisation on paper who is qualifed , the people in the shop poss did in-house course or something maybe. they have guidelines and they go by them. @Former-Member

put it this way , the place doesn't scream 'career opportunity' when you go thru the door. place is low rent, all older women work there, they hire out toilet seats and walkers as well lol..

Re: Good Morning!

Yes, I see what you mean 🙂 @TAB

usually the in house most qualified that you’ve mentioned sends the reports back to a patients’ sleep specialist/referring doctor (the ‘specialist’) - however having good training in how to do that is a bit rare; there weren’t many people doing the training. The training is mostly provided by the manufacturers of the equipment (rep comes and does a little bit of training in the shop for the staff), however when I did it, I went to all the manufacturers and did their in-house thorough training on all the operational algorithms (the computations that make them work/sense airflow in a persons airway, etc) from the engineers who designed them.

Oh, that makes sense regarding it’s a mixed business.. I would guess that there may not be a person there with sleep technician certification focussing in advanced or complex data, maybe 🙂🌺

my focus area was ventilation (people who live with breathing paralysis and need 24/7 ventilators - they are very similar to what is used when someone is having anaesthetic for surgery, in terms of the complexity of machine (and some meds in gas form are routed through them). I used to set those ones up, so I was hardly in the clinic - mostly on home visits or giving training in hospitals when I wasn’t on night shift conducting advanced sleep studies 🙂🌺

Saying this..just illustrates the wide range of skills that exist across the industry… it’s quite hard to know who or where the best staff are, to get the best advice.
if you ever have any questions, I’m always happy to help out if I can 🙂🌺

Re: Good Morning!

My computer is now working. Tech wizard came by today. $180 later...lol @TAB The problem is now resolved

Re: Good Morning!

..can I ask what the problem was ? @SmilingGecko  i had problem w cooliing on mine. thats serious. so I eventually got the guts to take it apart myself, pushed a ton of lint around that could not get out, now computer thinks its ok, but I really should get it done properly

Re: Good Morning!

Great to hear you got your computer working @SmilingGecko

That's not Too painful in the realm of PC fixes

Re: Good Morning!

well these people worked for place who sold the machines and none of them seemed that smart or professional. other jobs I imagine them having had would be fish filleter, cleaner etc, not even working at kmart think @Former-Member
