Re: Good Morning!

Good Morning @MDT @Former-Member @Former-Member @TAB and anyone else around this morning.

You post about eating has really made me hungry @TAB! I haven't had brekkie yet and I think eggs Benedict and a coffee would really hit the spot right about now 😉

Hope you are all doing well and the week ahead is great to you.

Warm wishes,

FloatingFeather

Re: Good Morning!

Got some fresh produce from the markets @Former-Member
So much better than the muck from Coles.
Had a nice brekky too in the hidden arcades.
Going to art gallery now. Then maybe the shrine too.
Then seeing someone from a Facebook group I am part of for dinner.
If weather fines up though I'm gonna try to get to the St kilda beach but will see how it goes

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @MDT you are doing a thorough exploration of Melbourne.  You have so much exuberance. Its great you are making the most of your stay here.  Melbourne certainly has a lot to offer.   I'm just back from the chemist with my mad meds. Hey thats pretty cool with Vinnies offloading food @TAB   I was too sick to take care of myself several years ago and Sikh Volunteers came out with their van of vegetarian food.  The local Sikhs do this for single mums, people who are ill, people below the poverty line and families doing it tough no questions asked.  I wonder if there is a similar service near you.  I only used Sikhs once. I try and do self reliance as much as possible!

G'day IJM1 @Former-Member

Re: Good Morning!

Haha no way @TAB
I enjoy cooking up food which is fresh and cheap
But I have been checking out cool places as well on the move

Re: Good Morning!

@MDT Are you going to take in a concert or go to the theatre?  Walking by the Yarra?

Over 30 years ago, in the Parkville campus aka Royal Park a family therapy pdoc let us peek in a room where they had saved art by patients and were planning to do a gallery. Now we have Dax. In some ways it can be good to be old, as you see history in the making.

Re: Good Morning!

@Former-Member Had some Sikh food delivered as part of an Interfaith online workshop.  Free to participants.  It was great as it brought a Real presence into the experience and kept things down to earth.  I like their sense of social conscience.

Re: Good Morning!

Try crypto @Former-Member @TAB

Or pretend to.

Was chatting to a friend recently about how the job market is employees market. There are now more jobs available than people looking.

Looking at some art here as well in the gallery but needed to sit down. Legs and back are killing me.

One thing I am learning from antiquity is how often things are repeated in any culture the world over.

For example - obsession with wealth and materialism
