Today's effort
Most of this is at work so hardly taxing but steps are steps.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
Our S1 is really getting into the exercise atm.
He has a friend up the street so walking the dog before and after school lol. Never seen him so motivated. Dogs are loving it. Taking it in turns morning and afternoon.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
Got caught in an icy blast walking the hound today. Mr Darcy not impressed, I did offer to take the girl on my own, but he would not hear of it.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
Starting tomorrow I have a little more time on my hands so making a commitment to make a bigger effort to get out walking.
I have decided if I have time to lie down for a sleep during the day (I am doing far too much of that lately influenced I think by low mood) than I have time for a walk. If it is raining I will use the treadmill.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
I really need to loose weight to combat increasing risk of health complications.
The target is 30 kg under supervision of gp.
I had some test results late last year that rattled me. Not even sure if damage revealed is even reversible. On my list to ask gp this week. I have been too scared to ask is why I have not already.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
Well I'm off to a good re-start today.
Had a 10km walk planned for tomorrow early but working now. Still aiming for 5km.
