Re: Living in a abusive and toxic household
@Trauma Welcome to the forums.
I’m really sorry you are going through what you are.
I hope you find alternative accommodation soon. Abuse really does take its toll on our mental and physical health.
Take care.
A forum tip. The @brings a dropdown and is how we tag others. It lets us know you have posted.

Re: Living in a abusive and toxic household
What's the best way to let my relative I live with know that I'm taking the right steps and actions to better myself and my life ...he claims we have no trust due to prior occurances that have happened throughout years in the past.. I truly am trying though but living with this guy is so hard, so hot and cold Like a broken water tap, turn it to hit it goes cold and vice versa... Should I move out and get a share place, I don't know where to start with that and am super nervous....I just can't get better living in this toxic environment, I try to shut my mouth and isolate myself fr him by staying in my room but realistically who wants to be locked in a makeshift prison cell when we have already been through some of the worst lockdowns imaginable last year.....warm regards
