@Shaz51, glad you are getting to relax after a big week. Partner here bought a giant bag of rice that was on special at the supermarket this week. Looks like we'll be getting into some rice for a while! Mythbusters is one of his fave shows.
@Former-Member, sounds like a real mixed bag week there. Sorry you get those lonely feelings. But here we are together now in our virtual headspace at the least. Here's (non-alcoholic) cheers to us all.

HI everyone 🙂
I really like mythbusters too @Shaz51! We just got netflix, which is really dangerous... I could get hooked on that thing. We have been addicted to a show called Friday Night Lights. It's about a small rural Texan town, where most young men count on NFL football to get them to collage.

Thank you for well wishes re son's new doc. His old one never impressed him or me. My son has been stoic and compliant and possibly over accepting his fate as a MI sufferer.
I met with a mum who had successfully negotiated our MH system and quickly recommended someone who had integrity, bulkbilled and had success with young people, though was a hike across town.
She was spot on in her questions of me and seemed to win my son over.in brief phone call. I just wanted him to realise that he did have some options and getting a psychiatrist with whom he could develop rapport was a possibility, though we might have to look a bit. Anyway time will tell.

@Shaz51, just saw you saying something about reading in the Night Shift. Sounds like you are too busy to find the time! What do you like reading when you do it? It also reminded me to tell you, @Appleblossom, that I finished 'Mateship With Birds' and it was very rewarding, thanks again for the rec. This is the second novel I've slowly read over recent months. You burn through the books, @Former-Member. What have your latest ones been about?
