probs could get motel for 300 if did deal at place that knows me , they did 100/nite cash b4 did 300/wk for a motel in WA ok was 10 years ago now.

Possibly too hot out there @TAB I went outside briefly and it was still hot. Just cleaning up a bit. Don't feel like eating anything. Just made a smoothie but that will be all for dinner. Just put out compost.

@TAB I hope its not too bad leaving the house, its still 30 degrees and won't drop to 20 until 11pm. I've done some cleaning up and am really pleased with my efforts. The cat wanted to come back in. She seems quite happy indoors. Worked out what I'm having for xmas - some pecan pie with sides. Just mentioned to @StuF the price of roasts.

I feel sorry for families with nothing, especially the kids. The way things are going these days. I'm so glad I did not birth children into this rotten world. I still stand by my decision not having children. Couldn't have had them anyway with med causing spina bifida in babies. A journalist said today its like 1 in 3 children with autism. It used to be 1 in 10 but its got worse. My high school friend who became a GP is now working in IVF.

kids a  liablitity these days unless own a house @Former-Member   these days kids are born no matter what is wrong with them infant mortality rate in aust is 1/20th what it was 100 years ago. or 1/60th of year my father was born in Germany, his mother had 8 children and 2 that didnt last to 2 or 3years

But, just on the figures of kids on the spectrum - I just saw on the tele (OK, so it was the Project, so hardly a bastion of indisputable truth, but still) that the figure is more like 1 in 40, Certainly not 1 in 3. Anyway, I'd have bigger concerns than possible autism if I brought a child into this f-ed world
