Good Morning!

Re: Good Morning!

Hope you enjoy your trip @Judi9877 😺

Re: Good Morning!

Its come over sunny now aye @Former-Member
How nice.
So far today I went to get breakfast in Flinders lane. Then had to go back to my digs to put my thicker jacket on. Went to Chinese museum Then to Dax Centre as they had a gallery about art and mental health which was cool. Then just walked through Melbourne uni but I think Sydney uni better lol - I am biased.

Then now just having some lunch at a Cafe. Was gonna go to Victoria markets but they shut soon and I wanted to see stuff. So will just do that tomorrow I think.
Need to do a bit of work for placement before tonight. Then after that I can recover. Was gonna visit art gallery over at south bank but will do that tomorrow before I catch up with someone.
Will probably have afternoon nap.
Weekend I plan on going to Fitzroy markets and also seeing work colleague.
Monday I can do more trusty stuff as I'll be here til about 6pm.

I'm channeling "travel hams"

Re: Good Morning!

Not a bad day here. Just tidying up the last bits of my Spring cleaning, shopped and am exhausted. Take care of your good self @TAB.

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @Former-Member. Cold enough here, but just another week and we'll be in Spring. Can't wait. I've been busy today but putting my feet up now. Take care.

Re: Good Morning!

For a second I was thinking of Rosa Luxembourg haha @Appleblossom

I opened the link and found it good. I like the definitions of each.

I think I need to be more conscious of differences between what is observed and what is experienced in the realm of feeling

Perhaps even too I cam now focus on self feeling ad opposed to self observation

I am good otherwise thank you. Soaking up Melbourne.

Right now I feel a bit drenched though haha. Need to rest.

Re: Good Morning!

Re: Good Morning!

Cool stuff @MDT you sound very cosmopolitan with your holiday channelling!  I used to go to the Block Arcade for my music.  Its not far from Flinders lane where you were.  I heard that they had struggled during lockdown. Don't know if they have closed.  They were called Basement Discs and you go down a stairway to an underground shop and they have a raw brick interior with really comfortable surrounds and a huge music selection.  I think Southbank would be good to visit, haven't been there in years.  Never been to Dax.  Melbourne University is quite big. I used to buy all my books from there prior to the internet.  You could get access to lots of banned literature lol!  I studied at Deakin University in Burwood back in the 1990's don't know if you are familiar with Deakin but its a smaller uni however they have since installed a high rise building on campus so I think lots would have changed.  I studied a bachelor of business there 30 years ago.  I've never been to the Fitzroy market before but have hung out at the Queen Victoria though.  Sounds like you are staying close to the CBD and surrounds.  The Urban List has plenty of places to visit.  I'll supply the link.  https://www.theurbanlist.com/melbourne

Re: Good Morning!

Don't you hate it with MI when you have interrupted sleep @TAB?  The night before I had a full 10 hours sleep.  Last night was ok.  I hope tonight is better for you.  Its good to stay out of bed during the day except afternoon napping which is recommended on the chi cycle or it will play havoc with your sleep.
