Re: Best Friends Club

@tyme You didn’t tell me you had been to India.

@rav3n did you know?

@tyme why did you go to India? Why not Paris? Or Istanbul?

Re: Best Friends Club

I don't know. I wanted to go to India @Glisten 🙂 I wasn't fond of the food though. I just ate fresh egg or potato dosa at the hotel. Or I had plain rice. I was so careful with the food. Didn't eat any street food.

It was a real cultural eye opener. The people are so friendly.

Actually, I'm going again next year. I'll go to different parts though. I want to go to Rajasthan.

Re: Best Friends Club

@tyme well that’s one way to lose weight.

Woman go to Turkey the South West. There is a place called Kas.

Great food, the water is fine. The sea looks like blue Powerade.

The people are sensational. So friendly. You must drink tea with them.

 Everyone eats together

Re: Best Friends Club

@ArraDreaming not leaving for good, just need to get myself better mentally. I will return once my emotional state is not so fragile.

@tyme thank you for asking, I feel more wanted and cared for on the Sane forums than I do with my offline friends and family. How sad is that.

As soon as I can write a sentence without crying I'll be back 💜

Re: Best Friends Club

Nah, not really.. because the little food I do eat is always deep fried or smothered with a layer of oil.

You know how they use a lot of ghee in their food? I'm not sure if all Indians do that, but where I went, there was so much ghee and I couldn't stand the smell.

And when I asked for a salad sandwich, I was surprised to get onion, cucumber and carrot finely chopped and mixed in with mayo put between two pieces of bread.

The coconuts were delish there though. And it was amazing to see how hard the people work.

The culture is amazing.

Re: Best Friends Club
