A Poem? Maybe?

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

Thank you @Loopy @kristin @Alessandra1992 @CherryBomb

I never thought of what i wrote as beautiful, i saw it only as a jumbled mess of thoughts and feelings, thank you for showing me that it is more then that.

loopy i like your poem, that is a really meaningful piece.

i am humbled by everyone else in the forum, you are all beautiful, kind good spirited people.

thank you

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

Kato, I liked your poem too though was long, it's felt sensitive.
My dog died over a month ago, I had this dream on my family a few days ago and haven't been able to stop crying since then. I keep on feeling him cuddling up to me.
Your poem reminded me what's it's like, Thankyou.
You able to write how you feel. That's so good.

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

Me too.

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

The expression of feelings that you are writing to us is a pure and original flow of how you are starting to see yourself. It's like....little green shoots of pride in yourself
It makes me feel special about myself because I am contributing a little in your path.

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

the time has come

to awaken, the memories

of my mistakes, and the path i have taken

i have come far but still much to do

before i can sense myself as true

so many thoughts to be broken

so many needs to be spoken

if only it was so easy to be free

no longer trapped by the horrors that haunt me

a beacon of light a sense of direction

a path so difficult, it requires patience and attention

but the hope is their, and the reason

something to aim for, something pure

i will always hope for forgivness

i will always hope for the chances

i will always hope for happiness

i will always hope for no more sadness

i will always hope for the better

i wll always hope for hope itself

Thank you

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

Let your words shine the way...

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

@kato absolutely wonderful writing both poems are so deep, passionate and I can feel them , know that your written word is from a place of truth within you. The 'lived experience'.
Thank you for sharing. Blessing of peace and love from me to you x

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

Re: A Poem? Maybe?

Kato,

Reminded me of that song ....that Cat Stevens song. ...I listen to the wind, to the wind of my soul.....
( or I listen to the bird to the bird of my soul )
