SUNDAY FUNDAY

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

@chookmojo get a skip for sure! I love a good clean out, good for your space and mind, very symbolic 🙂

roses are my favorite too @Jacques they have nice memories, sorry to hear about your seedlings... and sorry i cant help i dont have a "green" anything. Like @Former-Member said, could they just need a bit longer? hopefully someone else can advise...?

heading off now, have a great sunday night guys 🙂

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

I am fortunate to have jasmine, daphne and one rose in my garden, or maybe great planning!  It is a real mess at the moment. I just did a little weeding.  I dont care what it looks like its my sandpit.  I am trying to learn .. my house .. my rules.

Played music this morning. Will cook dinner soon.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

@JacquesThe seeds could be stale and just need a bit more warmth .. I dont take garden flops personally any more .. just do what needs doing.

@chookmojoHi Bella

I am trying to get away with putting all in rubbish bags.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

I decided to actually have some me time today, well after i took my mum grocery shopping..... lol

I washed my car, which i haven't done in quite awhile..... it is black so was looking horrible lol

Then i decided to drive all through the hills nearby, for a good few hours just cruising with my music, something i haven't done in awhile, then i came home and decided to actually spend some time on here for a change try to catch up with how everyone is doing, it has been too long so i apologise to all

i have missed each and every one of you 🙂

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Thanks @Fancy_Pants, @Former-Member & @Appleblossom, yes i am worried i have killed all the seedlings, but mum agrees with you, maybe they are just going to take a little longer.

This is my first foray into growing anything from seeds, so i am nervious and excited all at the same time.  i have planted advanced shrubs and flowers with great success, the seeds if they do not grow, is no problem i will buy some advanced ones, i just wanted to make some flowers from scratch, something i have made happen.  does that make any sense?

Anyway i have planted so many plants of late, over 30 and growing, it is so nice just to sit in my sun lounge and just watch the bee's gathering pollin, i could watch them all day, they never sting me, they are too busy to bother with me.

I can't understand why flowers and wildlife bring me so much peace, i just can't get that feeling from human interaction, i am always on guard, always feel threatened by humans, by society.

sorry i have strayed a little off topic.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

My kids have had fun making an indoor cubby this morning (and destroying the house.. but its only mess!)

We are off to the library soon, and we might even have milkshakes at the library cafe there afterwards as a treat today 🙂

Love Sundays!!

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Predictably I have been out toiling in the garden. I filled up a 4m skip with rubbish and timber waste left here by the previous owners, it is so good to have it all finally gone. And I have been shovelling out an enormous pile of mulch to protect the garden over Summer. I'm about halfway through the pile and starting to think I may have ordered rather too much. Oh well, I'll find somewhere for it. The chooks have been loving it! I've also repaired a couple of fences around my vegie beds to keep the chooks out... I reckon next weekend I can start the fun part, planting!
