Gratitude posts

Re: Gratitude posts

me too @peace

Re: Gratitude posts

I am very grateful for my darling little Grandson and his wonderful Mum, my daughter.

Re: Gratitude posts

I am grateful that when I lose my mind it eventually comes back of it's own accord.

Having recently lost the damn thing I would have had no idea where to look.

It came back on it's own looking a little sheepish kinda like a loyal dog that jumps the fence and returns later with someones washing in it's mouth.

Re: Gratitude posts

I am grateful that Rick's mind found its way back. I'm also grateful for music.

Re: Gratitude posts

I am grateful for my mind. Though parts of it are damaged and only run on 3 out of 4 wheels, I am grateful that I can think and write and understand.

I can think outside of me. Of others and of lofty ideas, philosophies and practical concepts.

Though I am a victim of my mind and at it's mercy occcasionally, other times I can frame and imagine and use lanuage to draw the pictures I may view in my head.

So thank you mind you adaptable, troublesome, wounded, reckless and beautiful instrument of enlightenment!

Re: Gratitude posts

I am grateful today for charity bins. As I needed to let go of a few things but knew they were too good to go into the rubbish. And I can't do the sellers thing. So thanks Salvo's. Oh I'm grateful for chocolate too.

Re: Gratitude posts

What a great idea. Just starting my journey so today I am grateful for

the ability to read and write

internet access and my own computer

time to devote to wellbeing

the information available online and in books so you can help and empower yourself

this forum where you can exchange ideas anonymously yet safely

the example of people like you who are taking a creative approach

thank you!

Hi everybody, I thought having a topic where we can post what we are grateful for might help. I used to have a site where I posted to daily which then sent me a summary email weekly of things I was grateful for but have had some problems with this recently so felt this might be a good replacement.

Here's my three things to be grateful for today:

A loving family,
A part-time job,
This forum.

Re: Gratitude posts

I just want to acknowledge how grateful I am to have a job that I can do. Grateful that even with all the time I have needed off last year due to disableing fear, I have not been stood down. I am able to feel a sense of self-esteem. I am full of gratitude for my little job.

Re: Gratitude posts

I am grateful that the experience of buying schools shoes was easy and pleasant for at least one child. Grateful I have the money for these money sucking objects.
I guess I am begrudgingly grateful that the difficulties with the other child help me appreciate such a simple thing.
