Re: Daily Achievements!

Oh yummy @Appleblossom I love spinach rolls! Sounds like you had a good day?
Today I:
Went to my GP to sort out some (safety) concerns and get a script.
Came home feeling fatigued so had to trust my support worker to help me with house cleaning without being overly paranoid.
Had a good rest.
I ate a lot of sandwiches (not up to eating main meals at the moment).
Used my airfryer re: skills from an occupational therapist.
Made arrangements to go to the NDIS office on Friday and have a plan for relaxing and calm before I deliver my doctor's letter to them. Coffee and sandwich on the cards for Friday😌☺️

Tomorrow:
A little bit of housework to make jobs easier for support workers re: concerns about home maintenance and hygiene.
Music over breakfast, possibly some Netflix shows.
Reading over snacks.
Stay hydrated properly (am a bit slack at the moment).
A nap.
Sandwiches for lunch.
Cook dinner.
Forums and phone counselling.
Remember to make another phone call after breaky.
Go to bed and remind myself of the good things in life while I continue to read myself sleep.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@oceangirl  well done sweetheart xx

Nice one @oceangirl

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Former-Member Sounds like you are good at organising yourself, but working on energy and confidence with support workers.  Have you had them long?  .I am consciously "working" on how to manage mine.  Getting better over time.  It helps me to think ahead what we will do.  It is actually a strange experience for me as they get close and personal, and I have all sorts of issues with boundaries.  Good practice for me.

Dear @oceangirl It is good to talk.  I have been through a hell of 6 months with my son, but we are "working" on it, cant say too much.  Apart from that my life is pretty regular. I do music and gardening and physio exercises most days, with meditation, reading, forum and internet browsing.  Thinking about getting a cat again.

Sorry to hear you are feeling like you need hospital.  I hope the best outcome happens for you.  I know private and public scenarios can be very different.  It is good to see you and others on forum have rapport.  Gently Bently with your heart Bella.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Appleblossom I've had support workers for several months now. I'm not a trusting person though, so it'll be several more months before I'm more trusting and less paranoid. As for energy and confidence, it's zero at the moment (many doctor's appointments ahead), because no amount of activities and even a good exercise routine which I force myself into, is fixing my energy levels. I'm a mess lol!
I'm usually very organised @Appleblossom, because organisation helps me with fatigue management. It's less stressful when I can find everything in its place and I have a strict routine which I'm familiar with.

@Former-Member

Most people on here know my little refrain ..."Gently Bently".  When we are really vulnerable it seems the best approach to me.  Often little phrases or mantras help us get through the toughest of times. In some ways I also have resilience, but it is mainly of the gently bently ... again and again kind, than being tough.

Pulling apart and gaining mastery over our weaknesses, it is also important to be aware of our strengths.

Take Care

Re: Daily Achievements!

Thanks @Appleblossom.
Am pulling a sicky today. Besides going to the chemist, I'm staying home all of this week and hopefully can go out again next Monday. I'm just far too overwhelmed at the moment and i'm putting my life on hold for a little while.
Today my only achievements will be a quick walk to the local chemist and staying in my bed.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Tomorrow I'm getting moral support from someone I know of outside the forums. I'm gonna live on sandwiches and coffee and Gatorade till I feel better. No cooking for me until I cool the farm after reading a horrible email today. Two steps backwards for me. Then reading, resting, browsing the forums and sleeping whenever I fall asleep.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Former-Member hope the support from the person outside of the forums went well today Heart

My daily achievements for today were:
1. I started the day with breakfast with my step son (4), and we had a hot chocolate together before pre-school started. I value that time with him
2. Finally did my tax (whoops!)
3. Felt really productive today

I come back to this discussion every day, really love reading through what our community member's daily achievements are 🙂
