14th year house bound

Re: 14th year house bound

Hi Tony

I did manage to get a copy of awareness, but I haven't been able to read it yet.

I find it extremely difficult to concentrate and understand things, I get easily confused.

It's been a while since I read a book. I was reading 2 to 3 books a week now I just stare at the pages.

I hope you are having a better week

Karen

Re: 14th year house bound

Thanks @SnowGuy for sharing!

@hiddenite what about downloading it as an audio book on your ipad?

Re: 14th year house bound

Thankyou @AlienBP2,

But i have been unable to meditate for months now, my mind is just too loud, concentration to low, and mood to unstable.

Thank you thought @AlienBP2, i really do appreciate it.

Re: 14th year house bound

Karen,

I get that about concentration. Listening to de Mello on YouTube might be easier. You can tune in and out as might happen.

Just don't get hung up on having to follow and understand everything in order before listening to another part. It isn't necessary. And if you do listen to it, don't listen to too much before you take a break for the day.

I have gone through the book so many times and have picked up something new each time.

Re: 14th year house bound

Hi Jacques,

I came across a group called the Depression Army. I can't believe I didn't immediately spot how clever that name is.

Everyone with a mental illness is a tough warrior. We are all fighting the toughest fight imaginable.

I have a dream for you. I know it is hard to dream when you are in a dark place, but everyone needs to dream. My dream for you is for you to comfortably take a walk along the river.

That is a doable goal. I believe in you. I believe you can do it. But the cool thing is: you don't have to get there on your own. We are all here to help you acheive that.

What do you say? Can we make that your goal?

Tony

Re: 14th year house bound

Oh j what can I do to show you what an important person you are. Not just to me but a lot of other people too.

Please remember they are just thoughts, you don't have to act on them!!!!!

You are not your thoughts.

Keep talking to me j or I'll have to put up another page of positive affirmations:-)

Stay safe. If you can't do it for yourself, do it for your mum....

She would be devastated to loose you, and so would I.

I fight another day Jacques because I see you fighting too

Take care

Karen
